What is the IL wager fee on theScore Bet for Illinois users?
In response to the per-wager tax law introduced by the Illinois state legislature, a $0.25 IL wager fee will be added to every wager placed by users in Illinois.
Where do I see the IL wager fee?
The IL wager fee will be shown in the betslip, in the player's account history & in their My Bets.
What if I place a wager using a Bonus Bet?
There will be no IL wager fee when placing a wager using a Bonus Bet or Credit.
Will the IL wager fee still be applied if I cash out of my wager?
The IL wager fee is incurred once the player places the wager. Whether the wager wins, loses, pushes, or is cashed out early does not change the IL wager fee.
Will the IL wager fee still be applied if my wager gets voided?
If your wager gets voided, the IL wager fee will not be applied and will be refunded to your balance.
Will the IL wager fee count towards my Responsible Gaming limits?
Yes, the IL wager fee will be counted towards the player’s RG limits, including Loss, Spend and Single Max Wager limits.
For example, if a player places a bet for $5.00, and there is a $0.25 surcharge, $5.25 would go towards their RG limit.
